[vsnet-id 679] NGC 5053 variables

The list below shows accurate coordinates for the fifteen variables
reported in the globular cluster NGC 5053. I used finder charts in Sandage
et al. (1977AJ.....82..389S) and in Nemec & Cohen (1989ApJ...336..780N) to
identify the stars. Mean V and B-V for the RR Lyraes V1-V10 are copied from
Nemec et al. (1995AJ....109..618N), while values for the fainter SX Phe stars
are from the follow-up also by Nemec et al. (1995AJ....110.1186N).
The first ten stars appear in SIMBAD but without coordinates; the latter
five are not present.
