[vsnet-id 657] RJHA objects

The list below provides accurate coordinates and IDs for 120 H-alpha
emission objects (stars and galaxies) published by Robertson & Jordan
(1989AJ.....98.1354R). These objects are all present in SIMBAD but often
without accurate coordinates, and numerous IDs can be cleaned up. The finder
charts in the paper were used to identify each object. Several errors were
noted in the source paper and in SIMBAD, but all objects were recovered.
Besides the search among various current astrometric catalogues for "best"
coordinates, I matched the list against the GCVS 4.1 in VizieR and show
variable-star names when they are not present in SIMBAD.
Robertson & Jordan suggest their V magnitude estimates "should be
accepted with a good deal of skepticism." Some confirmation/improvement
is available via the TASS MkIII survey data (2000PASP..112..397R, II/230),
which are shown in the 'V' column. Although not of high precision themselves,
they are calibrated directly against Landolt standards, and thus are
systematically close to the standard system. External comparison with the RJ
estimates and other sources shows that the original data are reasonably good.
(The TASS photometry is reliable for galaxies smaller than 1'.1 also, so the
value shown for RJHA 1 = IC 172 is as good as anything published for total V.)
