The star also appears in the GSC-2.2 at:
23 52 04.92 +61 48 12.7 (2000)
The catalogue indicates a red magnitude of 18.0 (POSS-II IIIa-F plate),
so clearly the amplitude of variation is large.
In case it is of interest, the GSC-2.2 can be queried at:
http://vsnet-gsss.stsci.edu/support/data_access.htm
In most cases, you'll want to set the search radius to a much smaller figure
than the default value (0.1 arcmin will work).
