According to Astron. Astrophys. 365, 115 (Mennickent et al.), V589 Sgr,
previously classified as an RCB star, has been identified as a symbiotic
variable.
The position is 18h 05m 17.1s -34o 44' 47" (2000.0)
The object is probably identical with:
USNO0525.25876030 180517.148 -344447.04 (2000.0) 14.9 21.6 *
There have been no reported observations to VSNET.
