Revising BF Ori's sequence I found a big mistake in the SIMBAD database;
V1249 Orionis is misidentified as a 10.30 V magnitude star (B-V 0.44).
That's impossible since it is a flare star (UVn) and they are red.
The star is GSC 0779.00697 but IT IS NOT V1249 Orionis.
Position is:
05h 38m 34.06s -0634' 07.5" (2000.0).
While V1249 Orionis is (according to the most recent GCVS) at:
05h 38m 31.97s -0636' 21.0" (2000.0).
Just another one for the records.
I'll send this note to SIMBAD so they can correct it.
