Dear Charles and VSNET friends:
Thanks for the correction in T Cae chart. Now there'll be no more discrepancies
in data.
But
I've got more work to do: AI CMi. This star is also
plotted in a wrong position, both in AAVSO GK Mon SB1986 chart and in the AAVSO
Atlas. It is 20 arcminutes south from the right position. Once this star war
thought to be an RCB but then turned out to be an L star (as in the case of
EsB365) and that's why I had decided to observe it. I was using the chart as a
finder and I almost die from a heart attack when I found there was nothing where
there should be an 8th magnitude star. But when I went down and checked I found
the mistake.
The right position is:
07h 35m 41.15s +0014' 58.0" (2000.0)
Thanks again.
Regards,
Sebastian Otero.
