[vsnet-id 189] Which is V503 Her?

Which is V503 Her?

    According to the GCVS, the symbiotic variable V503 Her is located at

173646.0 +231814 (2000.0) HERV503 ZAND: 13.1 14.4 P - 90 - M2p

    which seems to be identifed with the following GSC star.

GSC2076.1622 173646.42 +231810.0 (2000.0) 14.96 1

    However, ROSTE variable star survey reports a close, brighter star
to be definitely variable.

    Are these two independent variables, or was the original position of
V503 Her inaccurate?
