The very list is available on-line.
http://ftp.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/pub/vsnet/others/newvar.cat
The file contains many "noises" or non-variables, which I included
for possible future cross-identifications.

Two on-line files exist.
http://ftp.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/pub/vsnet/others/GCVS_REV/pat.srt
is a collection of ID candidates (often from eye inspections of GSC, USNO
and IRAS identifications, hence not always confirmed), which had been
sent to the GCVS team.
http://ftp.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/pub/vsnet/others/GCVS_REV/pat2.srt
is a collection of IDs posted to vsnet-id, using the format as listed
http://ftp.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/pub/vsnet/others/GCVS_REV/williams
is William's list.
