   The confusion is already unavoidable.  I presume now the better known
GM Sgr will be assigned to Goranskij's object, and the obscure Luyten's
object may achive another new name -- unless the GCVS team has a decision
to make a broadest announcement against the current common usage.

   This reminds me of YY Dra/DO Dra case.  The GCVS team decided to (lost,
I think) leave the YY Dra designation, and assigned a new variable star name
"DO Dra" to the new CV discovered close to the nominal position of YY Dra.
I think this may have been a better decision than the present case.  Then
the name "DO Dra" can unambigiously refers to the new CV.  The usage of the
name "YY Dra" leaves slight ambiguity.
