[vsnet-id 85] Re: IRAS 20252-0159

Identifications of IRAS 20252-0159, a new variable discovered by Glenn:

USNO0825.18380467 202751.916 -014924.37 (2000.0) 12.1 15.1
202751.3 -014926 (2000.0) FSC20252-0159 3.900 1.600 0.252 1.073L
202751.5 -014942 (2000.0) LMS519 M7: >13.5
202751.8 -014923 (2000.0) IRAS20252-0159 3.956 1.609 0.400L 1.000L 25%
202751.8 -014923 (2000.0) SSC20252-0159 3.956 1.609 0.400L 1.000L
202751.8 -014933 (2000.0) Ste177 >13.5v M7
202753.9 -014959 (2000.0) M7:III:E(Buscombe) V=11.44 B-V=1.52 U-B=1.13

It may be worth noting the S177 entry, in addition to the SIMBAD matches.

The star is missing from the GSC; the inferred amplitude (cf. V max 11.4)
and the spectrum (M-type giant with emission lines) suggest the Mira-type
classification.
