Williams' VS IDs available
Brian Skiff has relayed the VS identification work done by G. V. Williams
(of the Minor Planet Center), consisting of precise coordinates and
identifications for some 4600 variable stars. This is work that he has done
related to mistaken identities of variables for asteroids and of bright red
variables as novae.

(NB. This ftp directory is primarily designed for GCVS coordinates revision
project. When I have time, I will update GCVS patch files with new
