Subject: N Sgr 93 UBVRI photometry
Nova Sagittarii 1993 -- UBVRI Differential photometry
Mean of two differential measures obtained with the 0.6 f/16 Cassegrain at
Mt John with single-channel photometer No. 2, cooled EMI 9202B (S20) pmt,
and Johnson-Cousins UBVRcIc filters:
U.T. V U-B B-V V-R V-I Air Mass
N Sgr 93 1993 Sep. 27.40 9.57 -0.44 +0.24 +0.53 +0.71 1.31
s.d. 0.00 0.00 0.01 0.02 0.01
The star SAO 186455, 5.9 arcmins west and 0.6 arcmins north of the nova was
also measured as a possible comparison star:
SAO V U-B B-V V-R V-I X
186455 9.31 -0.12 +0.08 +0.05 +0.17 1.35
s.d. 0.00 0.01 0.01 0.00 0.01
These stars were measured differentially from the provisional comparison
star SAO 186445 with assumed V and colours of
7.747 -0.080 +0.079 +0.055 +0.16
The assumed values appear good to +/- 0.015 in all but U-B where the
uncertainty is +/- 0.03 magnitude.
