No new launch date scheduled; August 2 or 3 is probably the earliest possible. Sorry I haven't been keeping you better informed on detailed launch proceedings and potential observing times. One problem is that the launch itself keeps wriggling away. A second is that the deployment of ORFEUS depends on when within the launch window the orbiter actually leaves the ground. If we launch early in the window, then ORFEUS is deployed around 24 hours after launch. If we launch late, then deployment is around 48 hours after launch. Detailed planning (synchronization with IUE, etc.) is difficult I know - it's also difficult to plan the ORFEUS observing time line under these circumstances.
