John Day (Leicester, England) reports SS UMi in outburst.  Details...

Jun 24.984:  mv=<13.4   22cm reflector.  G. Poyner
Jun 25.026:  mv= 14.1   40cm reflector.  J. Day

The last reported outburst occured on May 21st 1993 (mv=14.4)

This star is on the recurrent objects programme of the UK Nova/SN
patrol.   As my 40cm is out of action until next week, I would be
grateful for confirmation.
