Date: Sat, 29 May 93 17:26:48 CDT From: gav@astro.as.utexas.edu (Gerard de Vaucouleurs) Subject: SN93J Austin, May 29, 1993 Dear Dr. Granslo, Thank you for your updated listing No010. Please note the following corrections: 03 28.30 Neely has revised his value to 13.8 +/- 0.1, and all the evidence we have now from Herbst, Prugniel and others is that "*C" is NOT variable, with <V> = 14.50 +/- 0.02. There is still disagreement on the color, but it is about the same as "*A" and "*B" (B-V ~ 0.5). 03 29.18 Neely has revised his value to 11.4:, but notes that the image was overexposed on his CCD frame and the magnitude is somewhat uncertain (perhaps +/- 0.2). 03 30.17 McGrath has revised his magnitude to 11.0:, superseding the original 11.2 (should have read 11.2 or brighter). Because of the indirect nature of the comparison with the Z Cam sequence this must be regarded as somewhat uncertain. Also with the revised magnitudes for the comparison stars the early Spanish observations are in much better agreement with others and with the V-band light curve (see my Note5 or 5/25/93). With best wishes and regards, G. de Vaucouleurs P.S.: Here is an update of W. Wren observations at McDonald Obs.: >From G. de Vaucouleurs (gav@astro.as.utexas.edu) (5.05)(*5.15)(#5.23) W.
