Superourtburst of V344 Lyr
Bright outburst of this dwarf nova (18h43m07.3s +43deg19'16" 1950
14.5-(20P) has been announced as follows (data communicated by Gary Poyner):

May 25.020 13.8 Tony Vanmunster (Belgium)
Subsequent observations at Ouda Station (Nara, Japan), Kyoto University
confirms the outburst (at about V=14.2 on May 25.553UT). V-band CCD
photometry reveals distinct superhumps with an amplitude of 0.34 mag. and
sharp maxima at 25.601, 25.693 and 25.788 UT. The derived superhump period
would place the system one of the longest superhump period known (the value
is close to that of EF Peg). The light curve suggests the presence of
superhumps. Follow-up high-speed photometry is urgently desirable.
