An observation which I made with the 0.44-m reflector at Basingstoke on 1993 May 19.9UT did indeed show a star-like point of about magnitude 13.0 visual but this appears to be part of the nuclear region. Martin Mobberley, Bury St Edmunds reports that CCD images obtained on May 19.9UT also show no difference from earlier exposures. A further report from Wim van DRiel, Kiso, Japan also confirms no new object on May 19 using the 1.05-m Kiso Schmidt. It appears this query can be filed, Kind regards, Guy M Hurst
