The nova is located at RA = 19h 10m 35s, Decl. = +1d 29.3' (1950.0). The
correspending 2000-coordinates are: RA = 19h 13m07s, Decl. = +1d 34.5'.
Nova Aquilae 1993 was discovered by Minoru Yamamoto (Okazaki-shi, Japan) on
exposures from 1993 May 14 using a 300-mm focal length f/4 camera, T-Max 400
film and PO0 green filter. The photographic magnitude was 7.6.
