The recurrent novae T CrB and RS Oph were detected near minumum.
V1974 Cyg (Nova 1992) is fading slowly. The current fade of
SN 1993J has apparently slowed down. Nova Oph 1993 was seen
near maximum under difficult conditions (low altitude) on Apr 22.
According to observations by Japanese observers it has now faded
to mag. 12.5. The new possible nova in Aquila, located at RA = 
19h13.1m, Dec = + 1d 34' (2000.0), has not been observered as the
news about discovery was not received until today.

The following dwarf novae has been detected in outburst: EM Cyg,
AB Dra, AH Her (bright maximum) and SU UMa (two maxima). Z Cam is
apparently in standstill.

The symbiotic variables Z And, BF Cyg, and AX Per were detected
near minimum. The magnitude of FG Sge is combined with its close
companion, but has clearly brightened during the last months.
WW Vul (Isa) has apparently been very active.
