Comparison stars and individual estimates were included in my first database listing. The Astronomer chart was first distributed as long ago as 1983 Apr 3 as part of the UK Nova/Supernova Patrol. A revised chart also plotting the supernova was distributed on Early Warning Circular 133 on March 30, within hours of the discovery announcement. A graphical chart was also sent on TA Electronic Circular 722 on 1993 Apr 1 (21.25UT) Although the Thompson/Bryan chart has some common sequence stars, it was our aim to restrict the number of comparisons to those providing sufficient reasonable 'steps' for a visual observer and minimising work if a re-reduction was necessary. If one of observers used a star not on our 'restricted list' below then only its magnitude (without decimal point) appears in our listing under 'estimate'. TA Star GSC 4383.
