Dear Fellow observers,

Mati Morel (New Castle NSW) has issued a primarily chart for visual
observers of Nova Oph 1993, on this chart there is three PeP magnitudes for
three stars they are as follows:

Position (1950) Mag. V B-V Off Sets From Nova
Star 1> 17h 21.4m -22d 46' 8.60 +0.60 36" RA W & 21' N
Star 2> 17h 22.3m -22d 49' 9.35 +0.528 12" RA E & 17' N
Star 3> 17h 23.05m -23d 07' 8.185 +0.478 60" RA E & Same Dec as Nova.

These PeP magnitudes were taken from the "Hipparcos Input Catalogue"
(HIC).

Mati also gave the 10th mag star about 2' to the west of the Nova as star
"a". (Position 17h 21m 58.22s -23d 07' 42.9" (1950) & 17h 25m 00.21s
-23d 10' 21.9" (2000) [Positions Courtesy of Rob McNaught])

Could any observers that can conduct PeP observations please measure the
"a" star and the three stars above.

All these stars will be used by Members of the VSS RASNZ for Visual
observations of the Nova.

I look forward to receiveing some observations.
