subject: RE:M81 sequence

Dear Dr. Harold Corwin,

Thank you for your e-mail. I have received your "M81 sequence" from
the nova network. Therefore your mail must have been successfully
received and distributed.

The only published photometry of the star "C" I have obatined is
that from Richmond. The differential magnitudes are as follows:

Uncalibrated magnitudes and colors relative to star A

star V (V-R) (R-I) GSC "V"
==========================================================
  B 0.51 -0.09 +0.06 -0.9
  C 3.10 +0.01 +0.04 +2.3
  F 3.27 +0.16 +0.04
  SN -0.69 -0.31 -0.22

If we take V=11.90, V-R=0.30, V-I=0.60 for star "B" (in your mail),
star "A" will have V=11.39, V-R=0.21, V-I=0.57, and star "C" V=14.49,
V-R=0.31, V-I=0.62.

The V magnitude of "C" is consistent with your estimate from infrared
photometry.

Regards,
Taichi Kato
