[vsnet-history 724] SN 1993J (de Vaucouleurs)

Date: Wed, 14 Apr 93 14:45:49 CDT
From: gav@astro.as.utexas.edu (Gerard de Vaucouleurs)
Subject: Your Obs. of 04/06.5

Dear Dr. Kato,
While checking your latest tabulation of SN1993J, I noticed that on
April 06.485 you have V = 11.854, on 06.538 B = 12.33, from which
B-V = +0.49 [corr: read V = 11.84]. One day earlier you had B-V =
0.36,0.37, one day later you had B-V = 0.40. Is it possible that
0.49 reflects a misprint for B? should we read B = 12.23?
Thank you for your attention.
Best regards,
G. de Vaucouleurs (gav@astro.as.utexas.edu)
P.S.: Sorry for the confusion of names, my long-time friend is
Dr. Keichi Ishida. I should have noticed the initial.
