Sir Dr. Gerard de Vaucouleurs,

    Thank you for your correctins and additions. I will include them
in my next compilation.

  According to Richmond's observation (below), star V magnitude of
star C is 14.5 and not 14.0. I have revised the original magnitude to
mv=13.7 according to this information.
   Uncalibrated magnitudes and colors relative to star A

star         V           (V-R)         (R-I)      GSC "V"
==========================================================
  B         0.51         -0.09         +0.06       -0.9
  C         3.10         +0.01         +0.04       +2.3
  F         3.27         +0.16         +0.04

  'S' stands for SAO magnitude. The comparisons were not clarified.
  I'm not sure about the sources of Kidger's table.

  'GP' stands for "The Guide Star Photometric Catalog" (if the original
report is literally true) and not GSC itself. I have used 'GP' and 'GSC'
respectively. 'GP' represents photoelectric V magnitudes (but may be
distant from M81 field).

Regards,
Taichi Kato
