Date: Thu, 08 Apr 1993 19:15:33 EDT From: "Have Telescope, Will Travel" <kbjorkman@madraf.astro.wisc.edu> Subject: SN1993J observations at PBO Two observations of SN1993J were made with the spectropolarimeter on the 0.9m telescope at the University of Wisconsin's Pine Bluff Observatory on April 3 and 4 (UT). We are still in the process of analyzing the polarization data. The spectra, which are low resolution and cover about 3300 - 7600 angstroms, show a general reddening and an increase in the H alpha emission between the first night and the second. Unfortunately the weather has prevented any other observations of the SN before or after these two. The spectral data have been sent to Alex Filippenko. Karen Bjorkman Univ. of Wisconsin
