Subject: VARSTARS List
I received the following e-mail from Veikko Makela:
Hello, Patrick!
If I remember correctly, you have/had contact with some Nordic
variable star observers, eg. Timo Kinnunen or B-H Granslo. I
would ask you, if you are interested in our Scandinavian variable
star observers mailing list.
The VARSTARS list is mainly for Scandinavian co-operation
purposes, but we like to have some collaborators outside Nordic
countries to participate our list. At the moment Guy M. Hurst
is the only non-Scandinavian.
The list messages are mainly observational reports, comparison
observation. Also some discussions or notes, one of the latest
was info about Alpha Ori fading.
If you are interested in, here some tips:
1. To join list, send e-mail to address listserv@lists.funet.fi.
In the text body of the mail put only one-line text:
sub varstars Patrick Schmeer
2. If you want to unsubscribe the list, send similar mail, but
with text line
unsub varstars
3. If you want to post something into list, use the address:
varstars@lists.funet.fi
