The mira stars T Cep and U Ori are currently near maximum and visible in
binoculars. Mira itself is fading from a bright maximum in July. FG Sge is
the sentral star of the planetary PK 60-7.1. MOK has resolved FG Sge from
the mag. 13 companion, otherwise magnitudes are combined. According to
observations forwarded by Guy Hurst and Taichi Kato it has remained faint,
near mag. 14, since early October.
