Star about 18' NW of nova, 'C' on Tom Richards's HST-GSC chart: V B-V U-B V-R V-I 1992 July 20.64 8.52 +0.31 +0.20 +0.18 +0.39 0.01 0.01 0.02 0.01 0.04 Mean of two measures on July 20. Sky appeared to be clear. This star looks like a good choice for a photoelectric comparison star but I haven't checked its references yet. Star about 4' ENE of nova, 'E' on Tom Richards's HST-GSC chart: V B-V U-B V-R V-I Provisional 9.46 +1.26 +1.0 +0.63 +1.4 s.d. 0.05 0.01 0.1 0.03 0.1 Mean of one measure on July 18 and one on July 20, marginal conditions on both nights. Reference star was E813, check E802 on both nights. On July 20 further checks were added at similar air mass to the nova field: E733 and E751. Alan Gilmore 1992 July 22
