Sir Dr. Hurst,
PG 0943+521
Thank you for the confirmation. This star is still bright at
about V=13 on TV monitor tonight.
HV Vir
Totally 17 superhump maxima have been obtained from May 1 through
May 5. Linear fit of three sucessive nights give the superhump period
of 0.05826 day, which is the second shortest known (only surpassed by
WZ Sge, and possibly WX Cet).
Whole observation including Dodaira photometry can not be well
respresented by linear equation. The period may be changing but not
yet fully confirmed. The amplitude of superhumps were between 0.1 and
0.2 mag.
Tonight the star is at about V=14.3, still in slow decline.
