(IAUC No. 5509). HV VIRGINIS T. Kato, Kyoto University, reports: "Using the 0.91-m reflector and the multicolor photometer at the Dodaira Station of National Astronomical Observatory, Y. Sekine, Kyoto University, revealed superhumps with increasing amplitudes from 0.1 mag in V on Apr. 22 to 0.2 on Apr. 23. The best derived period using five maxima is 89 min, which is longer than WZ Sge only by 8 percent."
