subject: HV VIR in IAUC

Sir Dr. Marsden,
It is strange that our report on HV Vir has not appeared on IAUC.
Our report must have reach you earlier than that by Mendelson et al.
(IAUC No. 5509).
My mailing record shows the following:

Sir Dr. Marsden,
We would like to submit the following report to IAUC.

HV VIRGINIS
T. Kato, Kyoto University, reports: "Using the 0.91-m reflector and the
multicolor photometer at the Dodaira Station of National Astronomical
Observatory, Y. Sekine, Kyoto University, revealed superhumps with
increasing amplitudes from 0.1 mag in V on Apr. 22 to 0.2 on Apr. 23.
The best derived period using five maxima is 89 min, which is longer
than WZ Sge only by 8 percent."
