Visual magnitude estimates by P. Schmeer, Bischmisheim, Germany:
Feb. 21.757 UT,   4.3 ; 25.134,   4.7 ; 27.111,   4.9 ;
     27.133 UT,   4.9 ; 27.151,   4.9 ; 27.172,   4.9 ;
     27.765 UT,   4.9 ; 28.098,   4.9 ; 28.123,   4.9 ;
     28.139 UT,   4.9 ; 28.166,   4.9 ; 28.208,   4.9 ;
Instrument: 7x50 binoculars
Sequence  : Sky Catalog 2000.0 (V magnitudes)

On Feb. 28.138 UT I made my first nova observation with the
naked eye.
