[vsnet-grb 10] GRB 000926
GRB 000926
According to GCN 803, Gorosabel et al. reported the detection of
a candidate optical afterglow at
RA(J2000)= 17h 04m 09.70s
DEC(J2000)= +51o 47' 10.2"
(uncertainty 2")
The object was 19.5+/-0.3 mag on observations starting at 27.859 UT.
GCN 804 reports Dall et al. independently reports the same object.
RA(J2000) : 17 04 09.62
Dec(J2000) : +51 47 11.2
(with an uncertainty of about 2")
R = 19.3+/-0.2. Spectroscopic information is also provided in GCN 804.
The object is also deteced in the radio (GCN 805).
The object is very favorably situated in the evening sky. Observations
are encouraged.
