From: GRB 2003 Conference feedback <grb2003@lanl.gov> Date: Tue, 24 Dec 2002 16:07:34 -0700 Subject: GRB 2003 conference announcement: "30 years of Discovery" Dear Gamma Ray Burst Researchers, For the past several years GRB conferences have been hosted in Rome in even years (let us hope that that continues), and in the United States in odd years (first in Huntsville and then in Woods Hole). In honor of the 30th anniversary of the discovery of GRBs by Klebesadel, Strong, and Olson, we are pleased to make the preliminary announcement that the 2003 Gamma Ray Burst conference will be hosted by Los Alamos. It will take place in Santa Fe, New Mexico (USA), between September 8 and 12, 2003. We have set up a preliminary web page at http://grb2003.lanl.gov/ which will be updated soon as some details are settled. PS: As this is our preliminary mailing, we expect that some people will receive multiple copies. If you send a message to grb2003@lanl.gov (or reply to this note), we will try to clean up the list for future mailings. Also, if you have problems loading the web page, please reply to this message and will will fix it for you immediately.
