Dear Dr. Kato,

The GCVS position for this star is based upon identification suggested by
M. Morel in his e-mail message of July 8, 2002. Before that, the star had
no accurate coordinates. In our files, Morel's identification for SU Ara
is considered uncertain just because the star he suggested does not show
obvious variability. It is rather difficult to find the real SU Ara
without a finding chart and having only VERY rough coordinates from the
Union Observatory Circular (16h52m.5 -54d16' 1875).

Regards,
N. Samus
