HV Aur observation from Gianluca Masi

Dear Colleagues,

    Gianluca Masi has reported the run of HV Aur on Nov. 30-Dec. 1.
The very high-quality data clearly show superhumps, with a secondary hump
signal on the descending branch.

    Masi also provided the following outburst astrometry:

RA: 04 53 16.87  Decl: +38 16 28.8 (J2000.0) - mean residuals: 0.1"

    Although HV Aur has already faded from the recent superoutbiurst,
we have been following the object in order to clarify its nature.  If your
telescope can sufficiently record this object in quiescence, we would
be also happy to receive any further data.
