Hi,
I wonder how serious this is?
The coordinates given refer to a reasonably dense part of the nearby MW. A SN originating there will be quite bright.
The magnetic CV and 'old' Nova (1942) CP Pup is less than a degree off the given coordinates...just for interest. It evolves unfortunately into the light pollution of my Western evening sky. Perhaps I must look and see it at magnitude 9 or so (not 15 as usual)...
Regards,
Berto
