A very useful bit of information is how often flares occur in a given
star. It's also important to known what the magnitude range during
a flare is (obviously, a minimum range for most observations). Even
if no one else observes a flare, your observation of it is useful and
important. These are fun stars and you shouldn't feel discouraged
about observing them - there sort of like fast CVs!
