[vsnet-ecl 307] KV CMa first eclipse detected
Last night I detected an eclipse of the Hipparcos
EA star KV CMa.
Hipparcos had detected just one so, unlike V438
Pup, more observations are needed to find a period.
Yesterday I suspected something was different (the
star at 7.2- 7.3 but with doubts...) Tonight the star was at 7.3-
7.4.
The eclipse may be long and so the period. That
would explain the lack of eclipse observations from Hipparcos.
Moreover, the eclipse observed by the satellite
seemed to be long, so yesterday's observation may be not error after
all.
Tomorrow I'll send the data with my
report.
Best regards,
Sebastian.
