Re HDE331015 = V871 Ara = C12
Following is copy text from an earlier message to Col Bembrick (Mt Tarana,
NSW) who has been observing V871 Ara with CCD to monitor eclipses and
search for the secondary eclipse.
I understand the next eclipse should occur on Sunday evening, August 06
AEST (August 05 GMAT).

Re the dates of mid eclipse for HDE331015, based on my ephemeris od
2450311.9775 +9.4169895, it would appear the following are likely times
(but this may depend upon upon how many decimals are on the calculator
used??):
JD2541000+ GMAT AEST (+0.9166d)
668.0239 May 03.0239 May 03.9405 = 03d 22h 34m
696.2748 May 31.2748 June 01.1914 = 01d 04h 35m zzzzzzzz
715.1088 June 19.1088 June 20.0256 = 20d 00h 36m
733.9426 July 07.9426 July 08.8596 = 08d 20h 37m
762.1937 Aug 05.1937 Aug 06.1103 = 06d 02h 38m
Lines 1 and 3 thru 5 would seem reasonable times. As eclipse duration is
near 7.7 hours, sevreal of these may need be observed to obtain a complete
phase plot light curve. I this I will definately be asleep for line 2.
