The CBAT MPChecker tells that no known asteroid were found in the 15'
around NGC 6946 on this epoch.

Its limiting magnitude is mag about 16.5 (compareing GSC2.2 Fmag). The
candidate GSC2.2 star at 20h34m45.93s, +60d16'24.4" (Fmag 16.73) is
not visible, which is consistent if it doesn't change its brightness.
