Dear colleagues,
can you, please, take some of you image of the
center of M31 galaxy with limitting R mag about 19 or better?
(Arne, or some other?). Unfiltered, R-band, I-band or H-alpha images
are all usable.
I discovered possible nova in M31 galaxy on 2003 Sep. 30.835 UT from
two series of R-band images taken with 0.35-m reflector + CCD ST-6V at
Lelekovice and I need to confirm it.
At Ondrejov and Padua is cloudy skies, at my station also.
The new object is well present on both series of coadded CCD frames (6x60s
and 7x60s respectively).
The new object is not present on many my previous images from
years 2002-2003.
Coordinates for the new object:
R.A. = 0h42m46s.72, Decl. = +41o19'46".7 (equinox 2000.0)
R-band magnitudes: Sep. 26.812 UT, [18.6; 30.835, 17.0.
Images please send to my e-mail address:
hornoch@astro.sci.muni.cz
Many thanks!
Best wishes and clear skies,
Kamil Hornoch
