I have visually confirmed Bill Liller's nova suspect in the LMC.  My
positional estimate is RA 5h 08.4m Dec -68d 26m.



Probable Nova in LMC

June. 20.458, 12.3 (A.Pearce, Nedlands, W. Australia);



My source for comparison star magnitudes was Mati Morel's LMC Atlas.  There
were mag 11.8, 12.2 and 12.9 comparison stars within 1-2 degs of the nova
suspect.  Therefore my estimate is quite accurate.
