Nova Sgr 2002 No. 2: Liller's observation
Hola everyone -
Last night at U.T.Sept. 16.0072, I measured the broadband V magnitude of
the nova-like star in Sgr to be V(bb) =3D 8.13 +/- 0.04.
Its position: (2000) R.A. 18h 02m 22.07s +/- 0.15s, (2000) Dec. =3D -2=
5d
20' 30.4" +/- 1.5". Thus, it seems unlikely that it is the nearby IRAS
source that Kato-san noted. Are there any other possibilities?
The several spectra that I was able to get clearly show emission lines; I=
am still in the process of reducing them.
All the best, William/Bill
