-----La publicaci a la que hac referencia es un Cat睿ogo de espectro
estelares de estrellas clasificadas  en el
sistema MK (Morgan-Keenan) que obra en nuestra biblioteca. En  so
encontr瞞 la entrada correspondiente a HD 159595 (V449 Sco) con su clase
espectral A2 V y su magnitud 7.0, pero hace referencia a dos bibliografs:
una del propio Jaschek de 1953 en PASP 65, 88 ( A note on V449 Sco) y la
otra es el GCVS de 1958.
No tengo el PASP de 1953. Habr que ver si existe en Internet, pero
seguramente lo tienen en La Plata.
Es todo lo que puedo ayudarte.

tengo amigos que estudian en La Plata que la pueden conseguir pero justo

Jaime Garc kindly searched for the Jaschek reference at La Plata
observatory:
It was just a stellar spectra catalogue on the MK system. So the only thing
you can find is a line with the known data ( A2V - 7.0) and a reference to
the 1953 PASP and the 1958 GCVS. Nothing more.

Searching through the GCPD I've found a measurement in the Geneva
Photometric system that gives 7.019.
That would be V=7.03. The same as in Tycho 1. And the V703 Sco study
presents several measurements with a mean of 7.039. So the star is - and no
doubt about it - not an intrinsec variable.
The rest I don't know. But I think that if there is good weather conditions
and collaboration, the matter will be fixed this year.
