We are pleased to announce the conference entitled: "Humps and Pulses in
Cataclysmic Variable Stars" devoted to theoretical and observational
aspects of humps and pulses of cataclysmic variable stars. This
conference is intended to give a broad overview of the recent results
obtained by observations obtained over the whole electromagnetic
spectrum and theoretical modeling of accretion discs.

SCHEDULE OF THE CONFERENCE: The conference programme will start on
Wednesday, September 22 at 18:00 and will end on Sunday, September 26,
13:00. The Sessions will take place from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to
18:30. There will be two Sessions on September 23 and 24, half-day
excursion and one Session on September 25, and one Session on September
26.
CONFERENCE SITE: The conference will be held in the "lecture room"
of the Kopernik Hotel in Frombork. Accommodation, three meals and
coffee breaks are included in the registration fee. The conference
participants will be accommodated in 32 two-person rooms.
REGISTRATION FEE: The registration fee is 270 Euro (if paid before
August 1, 2004) or 300 Euro (if paid later) and includes:
-accommodation in conference hotel
-meals
-admittance to the conference sessions
-half-day excursion to Frombork Cathedral Hill
-morning and afternoon coffee-break service
-a copy of the proceedings
Procedure for payment will be specified later.
IMPORTANT DATES:
- August 01, 2004: early registration
- August 15, 2004: submission of abstracts for contributed talks
- August 30, 2004: later registration
