                      ===== First Circular =====

Dear Colleague,

We would like to inform you that the International Symposium on
Origin of Matter and Evolution of Galaxies 03 (OMEG03) is scheduled
to take place in Saitama (Japan) on November 17-19, 2003. The OMEG
is an astrophysics symposium being held periodically in Tokyo area.

The Symposium will be held at RIKEN (The Institute of Physical
and Chemical Research) in Wako, Saitama, Japan.

The Scientific Program will cover the following topics:
       1. Big Bang Cosmology and Primordial Nucleosynthesis
       2. Nucleosynthesis in Stars
       3. Novae, Supernovae, and Explosive Nucleosynthesis
       4. Stellar Abundance, Galactic Chemical Evolution and
          Nucleo-Cosmochronology
       5. X-Rays, Gamma Rays, Cosmic Rays and Meteoritic Anomalies
       6. Nuclear Equation of State and Neutron Star
       7. Nuclear Cross Sections and Nuclear Data for Astrophysics
       8. Weak Interaction and Neutrinos.

Those who are interested in this Symposium should get a contact
with the scientific secretaries, M. Terasawa or T. Kishida (omeg03@
cns.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp).
