Dear Colleague,

this is the Call for Papers of the third Workshop
"Gamma-Ray Burst in the Afterglow Era" -  Rome - September 17-20 2002.

The 2002 workshop is organized by the new national CNR Institute of Space
Astrophysics and Cosmic Physics (IASF), which includes the two former CNR
Institutes (IAS, ITESRE) that organized the previous meetings, and by
the Osservatorio Astronomico di Brera - Merate, which is a major contributor
to the SWIFT mission.
As in the past, the meeting will be hosted at CNR Headquarters, right in the
Center of Rome.

The Registration to the Workshop and the Abstracts Submission must
be done through the WWW page:

A service is available for the hotel reservation through our Web page.
Please note that the registration to the Workshop and the Hotel reservation
service are completely disconnected. So, there is NO AUTOMATIC REGISTRATION
to the Workshop following an Hotel reservation, and there is no automatic
Hotel reservation with the registration to the workshop.


The Registration Fee is fixed at 275,00 Euros for the Early Registration
(i.e., by 4 August, 2002) and 325,00 Euros after the Early Registration
Deadline has expired.

Unfortunately, due to severe cuts to the our funds, this year the Workshop
Organization will not be able to provide any support for the participation
to the workshop.

The Registration Fee includes:
- coffee breaks
- participation to the Conference Banquet
- proceedings

The registration fee must be paid in one of the following methods:
1) Cash
2) Check
3) Bank Transfer
4) Credit Card
