Re: John Greaves messages Don't forward John Greaves' unsubscription messages to this list. He has been given his way to post to VSNET, and he just pretends as if he were totally rejected. A few notes: (1) Active contributors or collaborators generally need to be subscribed to the relevant lists. This is a general rule of scientific mailing lists. Everyone around us understands this common sense. (2) Those who post complaints to usual lists may be forbidden to post (usually a temporary measure). "JG" is presently this case. Rejection messages are automatically generated by the ML server, and we don't have an alternative message other than these boolean (can post or can't post) reactions. If he promises he will not post complaints to usual lists, he will duly given all rights to post to them (the case is not). (3) Some redundancies on "JG" have been removed. However, we don't understand how JG received six copies from four addresses. His computer may have amplified something -- if this is the case, this needs to be amended at his end. (4) Created, as requested by John, "vsnet-redundant-shit". This list is purely for John (only one subscriber, and only he can post). However, anyone can subscribe to this list. Regards, Taichi Kato
