Hi, a bit off-topic perhaps... but somehow related I would like to extend my CCD observing list of faint targets with recorded 'old' novae which are now suspected not to be classical novae. In the mid 90s I monitored a number of them down to a meagre 12th magnitude. Some of those false 'classical' novae have shown up as Mira stars (several examples since that time), some might be ugwz stars (or 'TOADS'). What I am most interested in are the recurrent Novae with IM Nor as a good example. Unfortunately I must restrict the list to targets South of +10degrees. Can someone help here with directions... Possible targets: DY PUP HS PUP HZ PUP CQ VEL AP CRU MT CEN V341 NOR V1172 SGR V4338 SGR please add or scrap..
