NSV 15279 While studying the early history of GRBs, Yamaoka-san I noticed the presence of a NSV object with unusual properties. > 011847.3 -283515 (2000.0) NSV15279 ? 10 <23 B - - - - This "10th mag" probably corresponds to an "optical flash", which was considered to be associated with the gamma-ray burst on 1978 Nov. 19. There is a QSO (z=0.798) at a slightly different position. Would this NSV object identical with the QSO? I wonder if this field has ever been studied further for yet another optical flash.
